The Gym

This place was once a working and running health club complete with work out room, storage room, locker room with showers, general meeting area, and the rafters. But thanks to the East Side this place went out of business. The owners had to shut down due to problems with the facility (air conditioning, heat, electricity problems, plumbing problems) and lack of business thanks to the fact that the east side opened up better looking health clubs in “nicer neighborhoods”. The owners took what they could out of the place before it was foreclosed, but due to its position in the dumpy side of town no one moved into the building and it began to wear down even more. That was when The Crypts came in.

Slade saw great things in this broken down building and soon used it’s facility to his advantage. The Crypts rebuilt the building back to working order and even rebuilt some broken down work out machines. The workout room is now where newbies are trained and the other gang members go to keep in shape. Only Slade can get into the Storage room, because it is where most of the gang’s weapons are stored. The locker room with showers provides a place for some gang members to simply go to be alone; their reason for being alone is up to them. And the general meeting area is where Slade addresses the Crypts and holds important meetings. When not in use for meetings the Crypts can be found around here simply hanging out, a refuge to some.
